It's a wonderful May

May was a busy month at the DeWalk household.
I think we're all still a little worn out, but thankful for the blessings God has given us!

The Highlights...

Went Camping at Devils Fork State Park

Melissa won SCVCS teacher of the year!

Melissa and I got to attend the SC Charter School awards ceremony and spend the night in Columbia.

So beautiful and so proud of our her!

Rick's parents came for a quick visit
We had a good time at the art festival in downtown Greenville and just visiting. We wished they were closer, but thankful for the times we get to spend with them. My poor Dad was tuckered out - Love you Dad!

Christian graduated K4 (again)
For those of you who don't know we decided to hold Christian back a year in K4. That was a great decision and we're confident he's ready for K5 now.

Christian and Mitchell- best buds!

Gabe finished the 3rd grade on the honor role - so thankful he inherited a love for learning and his smarts from Mom. (Let's just say I didn't excel in the 3rd grade). He had a great year and God answered our prayer with a wonderful teacher - thanks Mr. Klein!

You're awesome Gabriel!

Christian celebrated his 6th birthday.

Christian decided he wanted chocolate pudding for breakfast - yummy

Went camping at lake hartwell state park for Memorial Day

We even got a chance to see some nature....now let's see where is it...look for the nature, look for the nature....there it is....thataway. Thanks Mr. Ranger!

Looking forward to a great June! It's already been a busy one!

Congrats to Melissa! We have the chance for Levi to do a two year kindergarten and are so thankful. Been reading "Outliers" by Malcolm Gladwell and realizing it is a great gift that we are glad to give him. He will go from being the youngest in his class to the oldest and what a difference a year makes for these little ones!
